Rewind
In dieser Zeit sind nicht nur visuelle und virtuelle Kontakte mehr als wichtig, es zeigt sich jedoch auch, während Krankenschwestern, Ärzte, Sanitäter, Feuerwehrmänner, Polizisten und noch viele großartige Menschen mehr gerade unser Land überhaupt noch über Wasser halten, kümmern sich DJs und Künstler um die “Seelen” zu Hause. Es gibt einen absoluten Live-Streaming-Overflow. Joey Negro hat dazu ein paar sehr gute Gedanken auf seiner Facebook-Fanpage veröffentlicht.
Lots of people on my personal FB seem to be moaning about the large amount of DJ live streams currently happening. If you don’t like them then don’t listen. At least it’s giving the people doing them something to occupy their time (plus I’m sure some of their friends will enjoy listening) but more importantly from a business perspective it gives DJs a reason to keep buying new music. No one currently has any gigs, which means they don’t actually have to purchase new music. In fact if money is tight it’s something that can be cut back on. If that happens and sales really drop then labels will pull scheduled releases and wait for this to finish and the market to hopefully pick up again. That will lead to download stores not having so much new music, which means they’ll start hurting. So I’m all for the live streams.
